Hegde's Fast food

Loved the kara bath it was fresh fresh. Idly and chutney was great too. It gets crowded, so better go early.

We went to this eatery because it was recommended by Kripal Amanna on his Youtube channel. This place is popularly called the Veena Stores of Vidyaranyapura. I am a great fan of Veena Stores and wanted to try the food at Hegde Fast Food. The food is prepared hygienically. It was OK to taste. (I still feel it is not as great as Veena Stores but it is my personal opinion). My family members liked the food here. The only problem was the crowd handling. People try to push each other to place orders and take away the food trays. I hope the owners make a queue system so that pushing by people is avoided. Overall , it is a good place to eat.

It's a great small shop located on the main road of vidyaranyapura next to Ichalmara bus stop. It's like a replica of Veena stores. Don't go by the small size of the shop as the food is mouth watering here and typical bangalorean south indian food. Do visit this place. We get bisi bisi Idli, uppittu, vada and tea here. Whatever you try it'll taste delicious and awesome and once you try food here I guarantee you'll become a regular here. The owner and the other staff are very friendly. The price is minimal and the quantity is also much satisfying. They sell pickle, chutney puri, honey and other things too.

Good place to stop at for a piping hot plate of South Indian breakfast menu items. Plate of Idly is served with a semi-liquid chutney that has good hint of heat to it.

Excellent place for breakfast. This is like a copy of Veena stores in Malleswaram. The idli and Vada are really tasty. However, Khara bath isn't that great. The only con would be the waiting time specially on Weekends (Breakfast hours ).

Idli, vade and kharabath thats all they serve and they are absolutely delicious. I personally love evrything here and can't enough of this place. Dont forget to try the kashaya to end the breakfast. You won't regret checking this place out for sure.
